Today's Motorcycle Madhouse 5-12-23, Hollywoods Final Thoughts
Finding long lasting friendships, that was the main subject of the show today. Call me a debbie downer but I do not believe it's possible to find long lasting relationships. Friends come and go more times then friends will stay. This is just the fact of life.
Think about it for a second, how many of those who went to high school with you still keep in touch? I can almost bet not more than one or two. Even that is a high number in my opinion. If you're a member of a motorcycle club, how many of the so-called brothers have stuck around? How many kept in touch after leaving the club?
My point is people come and go, something many people don't want to hear. The facts are you will be lucky to have an established friendship last more than 5 years in these times. Let's face it, the internet has overtook the social scene. You don't have to go out anymore, instead you count your friends by how many you have on social media. It's a mirage people, it's not real.
How many times have we've seen drama popping up all over the internet? The drama you're seeing is because of people feeling comfortable online airing out their dirty laundry. They especially sit by their computers waiting on the comments they receive. The comments make them feel important, thus continuing the cycle. It's not they have true friends, it's they have a belief a digital reply makes you friends.
I don't know how many times I've had to explain this to Chinadoll. She's had to learn the hard way people on the internet are not the same in real life. Don't consider those online your friends. It's the number one mistake anyone can make, not just Chinadoll. Why in the world would you trust someone with private information you never met? This is what is happening though, people putting their business on the internet because they feel like friends are helping them. Don't be a damn fool I say!
