It's everywhere, the shootout between the Bandidos and Waterdogs, why did it happen? It's a good damn question isn't it? Sadly it's a question we've been asking for the last few weeks. First you had Oklahoma, then you had Texas and now this one. Incidents that have made International news.
There is never going to be an answer to that question as long as it continues to happen. What's the common theme? The bigger clubs getting into it with each other or they're getting into it with smaller clubs. Personally, I can't see why the leadership don't get it, people no longer want to deal with their baggage.
Motorcycle Clubs got away from the AMA because of their rules, now the clubs have become the AMA. What kind of hypocrisy is that?
The old protocol is dead, the old traditions are dead, time to evolve and come into modern times. The internet has actually woken a lot of people up, they understand there is no need to be ruled over by a dominant. This is why you're seeing smaller clubs fighting back now. If dominants think they can keep bullying smaller clubs they're actually on the wrong path. How many funerals are they going to keep going to because smaller clubs are fighting back? When will the leadership tell it's members to stop the crap?
Clubs that engage in bullying or acts of violence can no longer play the victims. With acts of violence like this people are not going to rallying with their causes any more. When they claimed they are being profiled people will say, "you all did it to yourself, no sympathy from them." It's already started to turn in that direction. It's sad but true.
One thing I think creators can do is continue to talk about this issue instead of ignoring it. Let's be honest, that's what a lot of us have been doing. Maybe it's time to identify the problem and maybe one of these leaders will come to their senses. Maybe then will we see some actual progress in clubs coming to the table and calling for the end of all this nonsense.
